About Classes

At Ares MMA Hillcrest, we’ve carefully designed our Little Warriors and Junior Warriors BJJ programs to support steady growth, confidence, and real skill development — not just physical fitness.

Each class follows a structured syllabus that builds week by week. Our coaches teach in a planned sequence that introduces core concepts, then reinforces them through repetition, drills, and live application. Just like in school, missing key lessons or jumping in at random points makes it harder for a student to catch up — and can even lead to frustration and negitive internal beliefs.

We’ve also assigned specific coaches to each schedule to create a consistent and familiar environment for your child. This allows coaches to build strong relationships, better understand each student’s learning style, and track their progress properly. When children bounce between different days or coaches, they miss out on this personal connection and lose the flow of the curriculum.

For that reason, we ask that parents commit to one class schedule (Option 1 or 2) for their child. It ensures:

  • Consistent coaching

  • A smoother learning path

  • Better skill retention

  • A more confident and comfortable experience for your child

We understand life can be busy, and we’re always here to support you.
